# How do I import notes from EverNote?

The following steps will help you import your notes from EverNote easily.

  1. Open EverNote app on Desktop.

  2. Go to Notebooks from the side menu Go to `Notebooks` from the side menu

  3. Click on the three-dot button on each notebook and click on Export Notebook Click on the `three-dot` button on each notebook and click on `Export Notebook`

  4. Choose .enex format and click on Export and save it to desired location. Choose `.enex` format and click on `Export`

  5. Repeat this for all your Notebooks.

  6. Drop the .enex backup files you exported earlier from EverNote in the box or click anywhere to open system file picker to select the file Drop the `.enex` backup files you exported earlier from EverNote in the box or click anywhere to open system file picker to select the file

  7. Click on Import N files button to start importing.

  8. Click on Download .nnbackup to download the file. From the list of formats to import, select Plain Text.

After you have downloaded the .nnbackup file, go to Notesnook app and restore backup file to get all your notes.
